Protein Pasta with Tuna

Ingredients:

  • 200g of protein pasta
  • 150g of canned tuna in olive oil, drained
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 100g of cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 50g of spinach leaves
  • 30ml of olive oil
  • 10g of fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of black pepper
  • 20g of grated Parmesan cheese

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • large pot
  • strainer
  • frying pan
  • mixing bowl
  • wooden spoon

Instructions:

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the protein pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  • While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Stir in the cherry tomatoes and cook for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
  • Add the drained tuna and spinach to the frying pan, cooking until the spinach wilts and everything is heated through.
  • Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and add it to the frying pan with the tuna mixture.
  • Toss everything together to combine well, season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle in the fresh basil.
  • Serve the pasta hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
